Ommagio a Verdi II - Corneille

Corneille was a talented artist who was also able to appreciate the work of other artists: painters, scientists, writers and poets. In fact, through his paintings Corneille has often dedicated a tribute to their work and research.

In 1989 he created "Ommagio a Verdi": two maps containing 6 silkscreens, each depicting one of the works of Verdi. In the second map - the blue one - the prints are dedicated to the following operas: Nabucco, La Traviata, Aida, Un Ballo in Maschera, Il Trovatore and Rigoletto.

The artworks are printed on handmade paper of 300gr in a limited edition of 200. Of course they are all signed by the artist. AcquestArte is in possession of the map 87/200. The size of the papers is 76x57cm, while the size of the image itself is 36,5 x44,5cm. The purchase price for the blue map is CHF 5'225. - / EUR 4.250,00.
