Six rêves peints - Corneille

Corneille was a talented artist who was also able to appreciate the work of other artists: painters, scientists, writers and poets. In fact, through his paintings Corneille has often dedicated a tribute to their work and research.


In 1989 he created "Six rêves peints": a map containing 6 silkscreens dedicated to the dreams of six famous writers and poets: Paul Eluard (poet), Gaston Bachelard (poet), Lewis Carroll (writer), Antonio Machado (poet), Jorge Luis Borges (writer) and Henry Michaux (writer).


The artworks are printed on handmade paper of 300gr in a limited edition of 200. Of course they are all signed by the artist. AcquestArte is in possession of the map 39/200. The size of the papers is 76x57cm, while the size of the image itself is 36,5 x44,5cm. The purchase price for the map is CHF 5'225. - / EUR 4.250,00.
